Mecobalamin is a vitamin B B 12 CO enzyme that occurs in blood and cerebrospinal fluid. Mecobalamin is taken by nerve tissues more actively and extensively than other honologues of vitamin B 12 . Mecobalamin accerelates the synthesis of nucleic acid in bone marrow as well as promotes the maturation and division of erythroblast and haeme  synthesis resulting inn an increase in erythrocyte (RBCs) production.

Why is Mecobalamin Prescribed?



1. Peripheral neuropathy(E.G.diabetic.alcoholic and uraemic neuropathy)

2. Drud induced neuropathy.

3. Neurological disease  aging.

4. Symptoms of vitamin B 12 deficiency ..

5. Prolonged inadequate or incorrect nutrition (E.G strict vegetarian diet).

6. Drug induced neuropathy.

7. Congenital disorders of vitamin b 12 transport.

How can I be pregnant while breastfeeding mecobalamin 



 Pregnant while breastfeeding no risks have become know associated with the use of mecobalamin during pregnancy at the recommended dosage.

Methcobalamin is also secreted in to human breast  milk . But risks of overdose for the infant are not known.

 what are the adverse effects of mecobalamin



like  all medicines mecobalamin can cause side effects although not everybody gets them.
IN parenteral administration individual cases eczematous and urticarial  drug .
